Live Homework Help through the Garland Nicholson Library System

The grade levels of Live Homework Help includes Kindergarten through adult learners. Parents can teach younger children to use the computer, to learn and explore their world, just as adults turn to technology to help them with everything from GED preparation to resume writing.

When you log on to the Live Homework Help page on the Garland Nicholson Library System website, you see options for K-12, College Intro, and Adult Learner. The Adult Learner selection supports those earning their GED, taking adult education courses, seeking grammar help with their resume or a work-related project, and more. Live Homework Help tutors will assist parents and their early learners in core skill development. There is even a Writing Center available.

Live Homework Help award-winning service is on-demand, provides one tutor to only one student in only one session, and offers tutoring at the moment the student is seeking help with any type of written work. Tutors will continue to assist students with long and short writing assignments; from essays, to expository writing, to term papers, and much more.

Online tutoring is available FREE to Garland library card holders in English from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Spanish-speaking tutors are available for math, science and social studies Sunday through Thursday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Online Gradebook

All schools are now part of the online Gradebook. If you or your child have not yet set up an account for this school year, visit the district's website at http://www.garlandisd.net/. You can monitor your child's grades and assignments as well as set an automatic reminder if the grade should drop below a certain level.
